At TAC, readiness is built through action. This month reflected our continued focus on strengthening the cybersecurity workforce, advancing critical infrastructure resilience, and creating environments where industry, government, and talent can engage in meaningful ways.
From hands-on OT training to aviation cybersecurity collaboration and workforce development alongside federal partners, April showcased how TAC continues turning mission priorities into measurable impact.

Building the OT Workforce: OT BoOTcamp™ Seats Now Available
As Operational Technology systems become increasingly targeted, the need for defenders who understand both IT and OT environments has never been greater.
TAC’s OT BoOTcamp™ equips participants with the foundational tools and techniques needed to secure Operational Technology and Industrial Control Systems, helping close the gap between traditional IT security and the systems that power our world.
The next in-person course will take place at TheLink Facility in Columbia, Maryland from June 22–26, 2026, and only 8 seats remain.
Participants gain hands-on experience through:
• PLC and control programming fundamentals
• Protecting critical infrastructure environments
• MODBUS/TCP scripting and analysis
• Red vs. Blue Team exercises
• Threat simulation and scenario analysis
• Simulated plant operations through networked PLC systems
Aligned to NICE and DoD 8140 workforce standards, OT BoOTcamp™ helps professionals build the skills needed to defend industrial environments across government and industry.

Defend The Airport 2.0: Sponsors Driving Real-World Aviation Security
Cyber threats to aviation continue to evolve, and organizations leading the response are looking for more than visibility, they want meaningful engagement.
At Defend The Airport 2.0 on June 17–18, 2026, sponsors have the opportunity to go beyond branding by leading interactive tabletop exercises and executive roundtables with decision-makers across aviation, government, military, and critical infrastructure.
Current tabletop exercises include:
Horizon3.ai
Defending the Airport with the World’s Best AI Hacker: NodeZero
Explore how autonomous pentesting can uncover and validate real-world attack paths using insights from more than 200,000 production-safe penetration tests. Learn how organizations are adopting continuous “hack, fix, verify” strategies to reduce measurable cyber risk across critical infrastructure.
Bureau Veritas
Crisis Simulation Workshop: Navigating Cyber Threats in Critical Infrastructure
Engage in a realistic crisis simulation focused on cyber threats impacting critical infrastructure. Participants will examine response strategies, decision-making under pressure, and methods for strengthening organizational resilience during high-impact incidents.
TAC is proud to work alongside leading sponsors and participating organizations supporting this mission, including Lockheed Martin, Elastic, the Federal Aviation Administration, the FBI, the Maryland Department of Transportation, Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, and the U.S. Department of War.
Limited sponsorship opportunities remain for organizations ready to lead the conversation and demonstrate real-world capability.

Strengthening the Workforce: DISA Career Connect
Next month, TAC will partner with the Defense Information Systems Agency for DISA Career Connect, a hiring initiative focused on connecting top talent with mission-critical roles supporting national security.
Taking place at TAC’s facility, TheLink, in Columbia, Maryland on May 7, 2026, the event will bring together professionals interested in opportunities across secure communications, infrastructure defense, and federal cyber operations.
DISA Career Connect reflects a larger mission: strengthening the national cyber workforce by connecting capable talent with organizations protecting the systems our nation depends on.
By serving as a bridge between talent and mission, TAC continues to help shape the next generation of cyber readiness.
Moving the Mission Forward
Readiness requires more than discussion. It requires training, partnerships, and real opportunities to engage.
Whether preparing professionals through OT BoOTcamp™, convening leaders at Defend The Airport 2.0, or supporting workforce pathways alongside DISA, TAC remains focused on building capability where it matters most.
Thank you to our partners, participants, and growing community for continuing to move the mission forward.
