Inside TAC: Turning Collaboration Into Capability

At TAC, progress is built through action. June highlighted the power of bringing together cybersecurity professionals, industry leaders, and mission-focused organizations to strengthen critical infrastructure resilience.

From immersive aviation cybersecurity exercises at Defend The Airport 2.0 to hands-on OT training through OT BoOTcamp™, this month demonstrated what happens when collaboration turns into capability.

Defending Aviation Cybersecurity: Defend The Airport 2.0 Recap

TAC hosted Defend The Airport 2.0 on June 17–18, 2026, bringing together leaders across aviation, government, military, and cybersecurity to explore the evolving challenges facing airport cybersecurity.

Through interactive tabletop exercises and collaborative discussions, attendees worked through realistic cyber scenarios focused on:

• Airport cyber attack response
• OT/ICS vulnerabilities
• Operational disruption
• Cross-team decision-making during cyber incidents

The event created a space for professionals to move beyond discussion and engage with the real-world challenges impacting critical infrastructure today.

Thank you to our sponsors, speakers, partners, and attendees who helped make Defend The Airport 2.0 a collaborative effort focused on strengthening aviation cybersecurity.

Building the OT Workforce: OT BoOTcamp™ Recap

TAC also hosted its first OT BoOTcamp™ course of 2026, providing professionals with hands-on experience securing Operational Technology and Industrial Control Systems.

Participants gained practical experience with:

• PLCs and control programming
• MODBUS/TCP analysis
• OT threat identification
• Red/Blue Team exercises
• Industrial environment simulations

Through immersive training at TheLink, OT BoOTcamp™ continues to help close the gap between IT and OT security while preparing professionals to protect the systems that power critical infrastructure.

Looking Ahead: TAC Coffee Connect Returns

The momentum continues with the return of TAC Coffee Connect on July 14, 2026, bringing together professionals across government, defense, cybersecurity, technology, and critical infrastructure for conversation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

Sponsored by Hakz, the event provides an opportunity for the TAC community to connect, exchange insights, and continue building relationships across the cybersecurity ecosystem.

Join us at TheLink in Columbia, Maryland for a morning focused on meaningful conversations, industry connection, and collaboration across the cybersecurity community.

Moving the Mission Forward

Cybersecurity readiness is not built through one event or one training — it is built through continued collaboration, hands-on experience, and partnerships focused on solving real-world challenges.

From defending airports to developing the next generation of OT cybersecurity professionals, TAC remains committed to creating environments where leaders can learn, collaborate, and build the capabilities needed to protect critical infrastructure.

Thank you to our partners, instructors, sponsors, and community members for continuing to move the mission forward.
