Yolanda C. Reid

Vice President of Cybersecurity for The MIL Corporation

Yolanda C. Reid serves as the Vice President of Cybersecurity for The MIL Corporation, leading enterprise cyber strategy, secure technology modernization, and mission-focused innovation across federal and national security programs. She is also the Founder of CODE: Mercedes Q, an initiative advancing cybersecurity, responsible AI, and quantum readiness across government, industry, and academia. Before joining MIL, Ms. Reid spent 21 years with the U.S. Department of Defense, holding technical and leadership roles that supported global cyber and intelligence missions. She later advanced national security modernization efforts through senior positions at EverWatch (now Booz Allen Hamilton), Raytheon BBN, and IBM Federal, guiding programs in cyber operations, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, and advanced research.

She contributes to the broader community through service as a judge for the National Military Intelligence Foundation (NMIF) Scholarship Program and the Maryland Cybersecurity Awards, and through prior board service with Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) Critical Infrastructure, supporting workforce growth in the cyber domain.

Ms. Reid holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Master’s in Information Technology from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Her Ph.D. in Information Technology, focused on AI adoption in the U.S. Aerospace and Defense industry, confers in December 2025.
