TAC is pleased to announce a new partnership with August Schell that makes our Operational Technology Cybersecurity Bootcamp available to eligible customers through August Schell’s NASA SEWP contract.
As cyber threats targeting critical infrastructure continue to grow in frequency and sophistication, organizations need professionals who understand both cybersecurity and the operational systems that keep essential services running. However, many traditional cybersecurity training programs focus primarily on information technology and provide limited exposure to the industrial systems, equipment, and protocols used in operational environments.
The five-day OT Cybersecurity Bootcamp helps close this workforce skills gap by providing hands-on experience with live industrial hardware, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial protocols, and realistic cyber scenarios. Participants gain practical experience identifying vulnerabilities, understanding how attacks can affect physical operations, and responding to threats in environments that reflect real-world critical infrastructure systems.
By preparing professionals to work confidently across both cyber and operational environments, the course supports TAC’s mission to train and develop the mission-ready workforce needed to defend operational technology and critical infrastructure.
This is the first of several mission-focused offerings TAC and August Schell are working to make available through SEWP. Additional efforts in development include technology scouting and evaluation services, as well as academic engagement packages that connect government mission needs with emerging technology and talent.
