Born in Scotland, Steven enjoyed a 20 year career in the capital markets as a bond trader and global macro hedge fund manager in London. When Steven founded Mail Capital, the Financial Times described Steven as one of three hedge fund professionals with the track record to “raise assets for new ventures at the drop of a hat.” In 2005, Steven moved to Florida after the birth of his third daughter. He currently manages Mail Venture Partners which nvests in pre-seed and seed companies. MVP’s portfolio consists of 25-30 diverse companies from around the world, primarily focused on cyber security, sports, digital media, anti piracy, blockchain, AI, satellites and healthcare. Steven has volunteered for 10+ years as a selection panelist and global panelist at http://www.Endeavor.org. Endeavor is recognized as the world’s leading organization for creating and inspiring high impact entrepreneurs. Their entrepreneurial ecosystems have successfully created millions of jobs. In 2014, the Scottish First Minister named Steven a Global Scot, Scottish business ambassador.
