Philip Niedermair serves as Chairman of the Technology Advancement Center (TAC) Advisory Board, Chairman of the National Cyber Group, Senior Advisor to the Cyberspace Solarium Commission 2.0, Managing Partner USA and Board Member of Modirum Gespi Defense Technologies, and Director of several innovative platform companies, including OSec, EnQuanta, IValt, and CyKor.
Born in the United Kingdom and raised in Scotland, Philip proudly considers himself a Highland Scot. His international perspective and lifelong commitment to leadership, service, and innovation have shaped a distinguished career spanning technology, cybersecurity, business transformation, and public-private collaboration.
In addition to these leadership roles, Philip serves as an advisor and board member to a diverse range of organizations, including the Gula Tech Foundation, Squadra Ventures, the Army Cyber Institute, the DEA Educational Foundation, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Historic Ships of Baltimore, the Dean’s Advisory Board of the University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business, the Industry Roundtable of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, and just recently he had the honor of being appointed to the Advisory Board of the Beacom College of Cybersecurity at Dakota State University.
Philip previously spent more than a decade as Managing Director of Alliances at Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, where he developed strategic partnerships across government, industry, and academia. Throughout his consulting career, he has advised senior executives and boards of leading global organizations, including The Coca-Cola Company, BP, Mastercard, UPS, Citibank, ServiceMaster, Cresset Capital, and ARINC, helping them address complex challenges at the intersection of technology, cybersecurity, innovation, and enterprise growth.
Philip is also a proud recipient of the Order of Thor, awarded by the Military Cyber Professionals Association (MCPA) in recognition of outstanding contributions to the cyber community.
