Jeffrey S. Scheidt, RADM, USN (Ret.)

Jeffrey S. Scheidt Rear Admiral, United States Navy (Retired) J. Scheidt Consulting LLC Jeff graduated from the University of Michigan in December of 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. He holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a specialty in Space Systems Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School. He also has an Executive Certificate in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He retired from service in October 2023 from the Office of the Secretary of Defense as the Senior Military Cyber Advisor. His fleet tours include assignments aboard the USS Constellation (CV 64), USS Coronado (AGF 11), and USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) where he deployed in the Western Pacific, Indian Ocean, and Arabian Gulf in support of Operations Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom. Ashore, he served in leadership roles at the National Security Agency and the Joint Staff J5 Cyber Policy division.

He also served as executive assistant to deputy chief of naval operations for Information Warfare and flag lieutenant for the Director, National Reconnaissance Office. He commanded Naval Information Warfighting Development Center, Navy Information Operations Command Bahrain, and Navy Information Operations Command Maryland / Fleet Cyber Command Task Force 1060. He is the plank-owning commanding officer of Cryptologic Warfare Group Six. He has a spouse and two children in college. Together they have visited all 50 US States and traveled extensively aboard. When he can find the time, Jeff enjoys woodworking and sailing.
