Joshua Russell is a Security Architect focusing on Operational Technologies (OT). He is driven to discover and implement efficient means of securing industrial control systems. He strives to design business-focused solutions that are secure and available to authorized users. Joshua adheres to secure design principles such as simplicity, active defense using passive means, defense in depth, and open design.
Currently, he manages a team of OT Security professionals at a Fortune 250 company providing rail service to America. His current areas of interest include threat intelligence, network traffic analysis, and network access control.
He has previously worked in application development and application security, leveraging insights from these experiences to enhance his expertise as a security professional.
