Ethan Kazi is a solution-oriented results focused business technology executive with over 25 years of technology, operations, and strategy experience. He currently serves as the CEO of The Canton Group which he co-founded over 25 years ago. The Canton Group is now a nationally recognized technology services firm supporting government agencies across the United States.
Prior to starting The Canton Group, Mr. Kazi worked at Johns Hopkins University doing Human Genetics research where he published works in Genomics and the American Journal of Medical Genetics. Mr. Kazi has excellent communication skills and ability to interact at all organizational levels. He has experience with a variety of client representatives in both the commercial and government sectors and extensive experience successfully managed numerous complex consulting and engineering efforts. He works well as a leader in fast-paced and challenging project and organizational environments. Mr. Kazi has been the recipient of numerous awards and recognition over the years.
In 2023, he received a citation from Governor Larry Hogan for critical support of government systems during the Covid pandemic. The company Mr. Kazi owns and runs, The Canton Group, was recognized in 2023 as a Top Work Place. He was the recipient of the 2014 Technology Innovator Award, the 2012 Circle of Excellence Award in Product Innovation , and the winner of the 2015 Future50 Award by SmartCEO Magazine. Mr. Kazi is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa, America’s most prestigious national honors society.
