Josh Russell

Josh Russell has been working in Rail Cyber Security since 2013 in security architecture and engineering roles in Operational Technology Security, Application Security, Infrastructure Security, and Red Teaming.  He accepted his current role in 2019 and has been the key security architect involved in CSX’s Positive Train Control, Dispatch, Locomotive, Wayside, and other Operational Technology environments.  Before his security roles, he worked as an application architect and developer at CSX with a focus on Locomotive Systems including Positive Train Control and Locomotive Global Positioning Systems.  Josh is a graduate of the Computer Science Program at the University of North Florida where he earned master’s and bachelor’s degrees.  Josh is married with two children and resides in Lake City, Florida.
